In the summer of 2015, Beautylish partnered with Japan's legendary brushmaker Chikuhodo to release their first ever collaboration called The Sakura Collection. Designed by Beautylish and handcrafted by Chikuhodo's team of artisans in Japan, each brush is made of the softest natural hair and embellished with a maki-e handle featuring cherry blossom design inspired by the Japanese tradition of sakura. While Beautylish and Chikuhodo have released additional collaborations since then, this limited edition design was never reissued again.
