Robert James Pailthorpe Dead Whale Company Flag Handmade Stoneware Rustic Pitcher I am not 100% sure what to make of this piece but it is heavy, well-made and all around fabulous. A rustic, handmade handled pitcher with what appears to be a color transfer of one of the late Robert James Pailthorpe's more famous sketches that was likely done around mid-20th century. The piece is unsigned, undated and unbranded. I am assuming it is vintage but I cannot say for certain. Wish I could tell you more! Condition: There is a flaw in the glaze made during firing and some irregularities on the bottom also stemming from manufacturing. The pitcher and art are in excellent condition with no known flaws.
