Scribner's seal and “A” on copyright page indicates this being a first edition of this vintage book about the history and notable individuals of the occult / paranormal / spiritual. A very rare find in this condition. Jacket has tape around the edges which were previously creased, torn and had general wear from handling and age. Price has been mostly torn from top corner of front liner flap but a “$2” is still partially visible. Very mild scuffing and blemishes to boards which are straight and otherwise clean, tough corners are slightly bumped. Pages are tanned but unmarked.
