Product code: Antique Moser Bohemian Czech Glass shops Vase
This is a beautiful antique 19th century Bohemian Czech 10 1/4" Vase attributed to Moser. This one of a kind vase was made in the mid to late 1800s. It is made of hand blown green glass. The glass is about 1/4" thick, has a thick base, and a smooth, polished pontil mark. Each precise "petal" of the base is faceted onto the vase itself. The gold leaf, hand painted enamel is designed and detailed throughout. There is some wear to the gilding along the edge of the base, the mouth of the vase, and through the design which is consistant with the age of the piece. There is also evidence that there was gilding outlining the facets, it appears as a ghost image. No chips or cracks. 10 1/4" tall. 2 3/4" diameter at base. 1 7/8" diameter at mouth shops.
