A cool little village landscape painting by listed Brooklyn artist, George Seidman (1898-1973). Seidman regularly painted and exhibited at Washington Square Park and had studios in Brooklyn and Lower Manhattan. He is listed in Davenport's and other artist directories and has a number of auction sales. This piece depicts a man walking with a cane down a dirt road in front of a bucolic village. Very cool piece by a well-listed and talented artist. The painting is oil on artist board. It is framed in a rustic wood frame. Signed by the artist at lower right and stamped on verso. The painting appears to be in very good condition. There are a couple areas that appear to either be paint flecks or loose, unpainted areas. Also shows some minor toning. Please see the photos. Painting shops measures approximately 5 inches wide x 5 inches high. Frame measures approximately 8.5 inches wide x 8.5 inches high.
