Handmade Robert Tenorio New Mexico Pot shops SANTO DOMINGO "KEWA" Pueblo Mountain Fish Pottery Bowl Jar Robert Tenorio This vintage bowl is an incredible piece done by famous potter Robert Tenorio. It was purchased from the estate of a high end collector of other similar artifacts. It is in wonderful vintage condition. There is a small divot out of the bowl on the side. A very small nip on the rim. Please see photos. Stunning fish decor. The inside is two tone and unglazed. It measures approximately 6”. It's signed by the artist as shown. As an award winning potter, Robert Tenorio began learning the hand coiling technique at the age of 10. After the pieces are shaped, they are fired outdoors with cottonwood bark. The color black in his pottery generally comes from boiling the Rocky mountain bee plant.
