Viking Ruby Red Glass 6" Sphere Ashtray Vtg Mid Century Atomic Orb Large Heavy This style of ashtray, at this 6" sphere size, can be found in the 1968-1970 catalogues as item #6827; however, I don't see ruby as an option in the 1968/69 price list. I don't have the price list for 1970 to ck. I suspect this color may have come out in 1970, but I'm not sure. There is a little bit of wear in the form of scratches on the bottom due to age and what looks like minimal use. There is a scratch and a straw mark at the top. See pics. Took photos on a white background, a black background, and outside in the natural sun. See pics. Approximate Dimensions: 4 3/4" tall 6" shops wide.
