Solid 14k yellow gold posts, backings and spikes that the pearls are on. shops Round flat ball on end of post that has 5 gold pieces that dangle with a pearl on each end. One of the earrings had one gold spike that is missing the pearl. Personally, I would still wear these and it wouldn't bother me that one is missing because it blends in and isn't easily noticed. these just aren't my style. Tested to confirm 14k gold. The backings and posts are each marked 14k, I pictured the backings stamp the one on the post is impossible for me to picture, had to read it with a lupe. Natural freshwater white pearls. The length of the drop from the longest point down from the post is an inch and a half. The pair together weighs 1.80 grams. No signs of wear or other defects other than the missing pearl on the one. I put like new because they are new without tags, just with a defect.
