This beautiful Francois Boucher style painting features an 18th century landscape scene with musicians and maidens gathered in the forefront amid flowers and trees and mountains, water, and billowing clouds in the background. Boucher was known for his idyllic paintings on classical themes and pastoral scenes. This oval shaped lithograph is bordered in gold and green matting set within a gorgeous, carved gilt wood frame. Measures 13 1/2" wide and 14 3/4" shops long. Very subtle spot where paint touch up was done on framing, as pictured, but very hard to detect.
