SIZE: 5” x 2.5” SET OF 2!! shops Fry's Cocoa Extract metal tins circa late 1800s in great condition, especially for their age. The main tin color is a gorgeous deep sapphire blue. Featuring a mix of blues, black, and iridescent beige (could be mother of pearl) with beautiful accents and Greek classical illustrations of women playing musical instruments. These products contained pure cocoa and was packed by J.S. Fry & Sons in Bristol and London, England. J.S. Fry & Sons, Ltd. was a British chocolate company owned by Joseph Storrs Fry and his family. The business went through several changes of name and ownership; it was named J. S. Fry & Sons in 1822. In 1847, Fry's produced the first solid chocolate bar.
