Towle oval silverplated platter (or serving tray) in Towle's Old Master pattern, roses and scrolls, Towle Item #4071. New condition, never been used, received as a gift in 1988. Has been stored in plastic wrapping. Can be used with or without the wood insert. The wood insert fits neatly in the center of the platter and is excellent for buffets/cheeses. The wooden insert has a well to catch juices while carving meats/turkey. Removing the wood insert exposes the beautiful pattern of the tray. Also Included is a glass insert, used for relishes, cheeses, etc. Platter measures 17" x shops 13.
