Please understand that the strap undernesth the decorative cover is a reinforced seatbelt material, meaning it has no chance of tearing. The purple cover is aesthetic only. The bag shops is otherwise in fantastic condition, amd holds a ton of things. It fit my oversized laptop, a textbook, my lunch and all my pencils the single time I tested it. This thing is so cute and I just don't want it to sit on my shelf forever.
