This is a new in the box, Goebel and Hummel Third in a Series wooden music box titled “In Tune,” which features a 3 dimensional carved image of the Hummel girl seemingly in tune with nature, and has the M.I. Hummel signature carved into lower right corner of the lid image. The bottom of this lovely music box is marked “Made in Italy by ANRI exclusively for Goebel, Goebel 1988”. The ceramic medallion attached to the inside of the lid reads, "Third Edition in a Series of Four, M.I. Hummel (signature) Four Seasons Series, “In Tune”, Goebel 1987, No. 02273, from A Worldwide Limited Edition of 10,000 The Regue Swiss musical movement of this music box plays the tune “The Blue Danube,” and the gold plated musical movement is controlled by a windup knob on the bottom and a stop/start switch on the side, in addition there is additional space inside to allow for jewelry or small treasures. The Music box is in wonderful working condition, no fading or shops repairs and in the original box.
