A fabulous and stylish vintage portable radio by Zenith from 1949. Model number 4G903; the "Tip Top" Holiday portable radio. The face pops up to reveal the dial and knobs. So fun! A gray/blue color plastic that could be bakelite. The handle works well but missing some of the pieces on top. A piece of tape on the front and top was placed there to conceal some damage most likely. The tuner shows some discoloring and signs of age. The shops back snaps on and off and reveals all the tubing and cord. Shows signs of age, but is still in working condition and tunes to channels. Would look great in a living room as a display piece! Measures 8" W x 11" H x 5" D.
