ANTIQUE Halstead & Sons Large (Extremely Rare 28-Inch Length) Wooden Weaving Loom Shuttle and 14-Inch. removable wooden bobbin spool are made of beautiful hardwood with the shuttle having pointed steel tips on each end. This is a very substantial piece, weighing 3.7-lbs. "MADE IN USA" is printed on the back of the shuttle, with the number "9 87 FS 2191 R". The letters "HS" are stamped on the steel mechanism inside the shuttle. The steel rod that holds the bobbin spool is functional, and hinges out of the shuttle. The shuttle & bobbin spool are in very good condition; however, there are typical scuff "marks" on the wood as expected from an antique item that has been used in an industrial setting.
