Product code: Blue and White Milk Glass Hen on Nest by Westmoreland shops
The Westmoreland glass company began producing beautiful and useful glass products in the 1880s. This delightful hen on basket was originally sold filled with mustard and has the tale tell number 5 on the inside of the diamond weave basket. It was made by Westmorland in the 1950s. This darling hard to find blue and white milk glass chicken measures just over 5 inches beak to tail, and 4 ½ inches tall. She has a small flea bite on her tail and one the comb. Extremely hard to shops notice, I couldn't even get a good pic of it.
