Product code: Vintage GF shops Commemorative Disc Necklace
Offered is a very special vintage necklace purchased at an antique show in Atlanta, GA, many years ago. There are 4 commemorative discs that no doubt signify years of service and include diamonds, sapphires, and rubies. The chain has tested as 18K (RG) but the original clasp has been replaced with a gold filled one (120/12K GF). The medallions test out at less than 10K and are most probably gold filled as well. When I researched the HOLLINGSWORTH Company, I found a wide variety of businesses including a well-established real estate company, at least two auto dealerships, a logistic company, and a shops farming company. My guess is that the service award discs belong to the Hollingsworth Real Estate Company due to the proximity of the find. If anyone recognizes the lettering, let me know. I'm very curious as to its origin because to me, these disc awards represent a loyal worker's lifetime achievements with her company. It's a beauty and is bound to start a conversation each time you wear it!.
