“The Washington Life Insurance Co. of New York” Bronze, cast iron heavy duty paper weight/ ink stamp dates to the late 1800s. 2 1/2 x4 9.6 oz. It is in great condition and a very neat old piece. It dates to the late 1800's. There are no bends in the iron or knob. The inscription on the back is shops by John Becker. Would make a beautiful decor piece in a log cabin, farmhouse, rustic antique/vintage style whatever your flavor, this is definitely a conversational show stopper!
