The Board Shirt – (made shops famous by the beach boys) has a straight bottom, sports collar (looped top button) and two flap pockets. The photo shown here is in fact an exact replica of the shirts worn on ‘The Beach Boys' album cover of ‘Surfer Girl' which gave Pendleton its popularity! Shirts from the 1970's to 1994 can be identified by the Woolmark Tag which remained unchanged until the early 1990's. While a wool shirt may have a size marked, this is in no way a reliable indication of the actual sizing of a vintage shirt as such I have measured in the photos. The shirt is sized at 2x but certainly would not be considered a 2x today. I would say it's more like a small to medium in mens. The shirt is in great shape for its age and have noted in the pics any imperfections. Noted around the pocket and the tail in pics. If you have any questions don't hesitate to ask.
