1997 Franklin Coca Cola Carousel 5 Horses Collectible shops Pre-owned condition The ball on the top of the carousel is turned to make the horses move up and down and a round! The ball can screw off, but only if you continue to turn it the wrong way! It's very easy to screw back on. When the thing is spun and the horses move it plays some notes from “In the Good Old Summertime” as the horses spin around the mirrored center post. The carousel itself is in a great physical condition! There may be some very little scratches and some marks that can be scrubbed off, but it looks incredibly good for a piece from 1997! Please note that if you move the ball the horses move for a couple seconds before stopping! Sometimes they go fast and sometimes they go slow. It either needs a new spring or just some oil applied to it! Also note that the horses can be moved manually!.
